About MeI am a Marriage and Family Therapist who is licensed in both the states of Wisconsin and California. I work in a school setting with high school age clients and also in a private practice where I work with people of all ages including children, teenagers, college-age students, and families.
I have 10+ years of clinical experience working with diverse populations and a wide range of diagnoses. In particular, I specialize in anxiety, depression, and life's transitions. I have worked with clients with extensive abuse and trauma histories as well with the goal of helping them find peace in the midst of their struggles. For 5+ years I worked as an in-home therapist helping families find new ways to deal with the transitions of family life as well as develop strategies for coping with the various ages and stages of development. When working with people I take a nonjudgmental approach. I believe you are the expert in your life and my job is to help you hear your inner voice to make sense of what can feel like the chaos around you. I offer client-focused, strength-based therapy. You will find me to be a compassionate, supportive, and fully present clinician. I can help you look at your current situation, what areas may be causing distress, and also at the systems surrounding you. It takes bravery to ask for help, and together we can work towards solutions to help you function at your highest capacity. I provide emotional support to help deal with the heavy situations and my clients often discover the healing power of shared laughter. I look forward to hearing from you and encourage you to reach out! You don't have to struggle alone. |
